Vidar Anderssen

Norway

My name is Vidar Anderssen, born in 1969, and raised in Stavanger, the oil capital of Norway . In 2003 I moved to Nissedal in Telemark, where I live together with my wife Lucie, and our two daughters Emma and Hedda.  I got my first giant schnauzer in 1981, a lovely female named Zita, that stayed with us until she was nearly 16 years old. In 2000 I bought my first miniature schnauzer, and in 2002 my first standard schnauzer, all of them in black color.
I started breeding in 2003, under the kennel prefix Dolma Ling’s. In 2024 we changed our kennel name to Nissetoppen. Since the start, I have bred 88 champions, spread among all three sizes.
Currently we breed black standards, and miniatures in all four colors. I was authorized as a judge in 2013, and have judged in all Nordic countries many times, as well as once in the Czech Republic, three times in Italy and once in Greece. I just finished group 2, so I’m currently expanding my authorizations with breeds from group 1, 5 and 6. I really look forward to judging at the famous trippel shows in Helsinki. Hope to see lots of quality dogs
