I always grew up with dogs. Almost 30 years ago a black Labrador female joined our family and my passion for retrievers, especially Labradors, was awakened. We started our first steps in the show ring and passed some obedience tests. The logical consequence was our first litter of Labradors in 1999 under the kennel
affix “Black Pearl of Mainhatten”. Thanks to our own dogs, I am an active hunter, and I lead our females both to hunt and to show all over Europe. After several litters, many titles and hunting tests, I decided to become a judge. A few years later I was certified
for group 8 and judged in many countries, including Germany, Finland, Austria, Poland, Italy, Denmark, Latvia, Belgium, France, Netherlands and USA (Potomac and San Francisco).
When I ask myself why I enjoy judging, there is only one answer: my passion for cynology and especially for group 8! I am really looking forward to judge all the beautiful breeds from group 8 at the Helsinki Winner Shows 2026! Especially “my breed” the Labradors as I always loved the history of many finnish kennels, “your”
bloodlines and “your” type! It is a true honor and excitement for me! See you in December
