My involvement in dogs began in 1978, when I acquired my first dog, a Norwich Terrier. The Chihuahua breed entered my life in 1984, and since then these two breeds have been a permanent part of my family. Under the kennel name Fantabulous, I have been breeding Norwich Terriers since 1980 and Chihuahuas since 2023. In addition, I have had a small number of litters of Norfolk Terriers, Bull Terriers and Fox Terriers. I served for many years as Treasurer of the Finnish Norwich and Norfolk Terrier Club. In recognition of my long-standing and valuable contribution, the breed club awarded me its Golden Merit Badge in 2016.
I qualified as a dog show judge in 2006. Currently, I judge most Terrier breeds as well as selected breeds from Group 9. I have judged at dog shows in the Nordic countries and the Baltic states. In addition to dogs, my interests include gardening and flower cultivation as well as visiting art and other museums.
