Greece

He was born in 1968 in Athens, Greece, where he lives and resides to this day. From a very young age he had dogs of different breeds such as the Greek Hound, German Shepherd as well as crossbreeds. In 1988 he acquired his first Old English Sheepdog named “Micky” and since then he has been devoted to this breed. He began to deal with Dog Shows and at the same time with
the selective breeding of the Old English Sheepdog breed.
Under the Kennel name “Micky’s Land” dedicated to his first Bobtail, he continues to this day, with faith and sensitivity, to breed dogs with undivided attention and responsibility and with the sole goal of the well-being, preservation of the characteristics and prosperity of the Old English Sheepdog breed. He has participated in many Dog Shows in Greece and abroad with great success and distinctions for his dogs. He holds, with Old English Sheepdog of his own, the title of “1st Male Greek Champion”,
“1st International Champion”, “Dog of the Year for 1997” and “Dog of the Year for 1999” in Greece. Many of his breeding dogs with many titles in Greece and abroad followed. In 1996, with great zeal and after many efforts, he managed to gather several owners of
Old English Sheepdogs, founding the Old English Sheepdog Friends’ Club of Greece, serving as President for many years.
Member of the Greek Kennel Club from 1992 to the present and Founding Member of the Athens Canine Society Club, serving as Treasurer, Secretary and President of the Club for several years. He has organized many dog shows of all breeds, National and
International, as well as Special Breed Shows for more than 25 years. He was a member of the Judges Committee of the Hellenic Kennel Club, and he has been an approved International Judge for over 20 years. He can judge all breeds of F.C.I. groups at National level and the breeds of the F.C.I. groups 1, 2, 3, 4, 8,9 and 10 at
International level. He has participated and attended many seminars, in general about the dog but also specialized in various breeds: “Morphology”, “Kinesiology”, “Genetics and
Reproduction”, “Training and Behavior”, “Handling of Dogs on and off the ring”, “Judge Behavior and Dog Evaluation” as well as “Care, Hygiene and Grooming”. He has been invited and has judged on Dog Shows: Special Old English Sheepdog Club of England (Open: 1999 Kensington London, Open: 2013 Swindon), Old English Sheepdog Club of Denmark, Germany, Finland. National All Breeds Dog Shows in Greece and Cyprus.
International All Breeds Dog Shows in France, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Israel, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary and Finland
