Kristin Kerem (Estonia) qualified as an exterior judge in 2010. Over the years, her family has owned Rottweilers and Irish Wolfhounds. Today, she shares her home with Long‑haired Miniature Dachshunds and Havanese, which she also breeds under the kennel name Iiah’s. For Kristin, dog sports and breeding are a versatile way to spend time with dogs. In addition to shows, she can nowadays be found more often at the agility hall or out hunting, balancing a demanding career as the CEO of a family business and as a researcher and lecturer at the Estonian Maritime Academy. What she values most in a dog are temperament and movement. A dog should have a breed‑typical character and appearance, and be ready for breed‑specific cooperation with its owner.
