I had my first Cocker at 11 years of age- and started my breeding career 1971, with a red English imported  bitch puppy, who eventually gained her title. This took a while as she was placed second behind the different CAC-  winners 11 times before she finally was made up. One learned to be patient, and never give in!
She produced a champion daughter and a CAC winning son in her first litter- and I was hooked on the sport before turning 23 years old.
I bought and bred a number of champions in Norway before moving to Sweden, where I lived for about 35 years. Apart from more than 150 title holders in Cockers, I have owned and/ or bred champions in Springers, Cairn terriers, Miniature Poodles, Lhasas, Shih Tzus and the odd Yorkshire terrier. ( Found, bought and co- owned Multi Ch Parcvern Smuggler, Dog of the Year in Sweden.) One of my homebred cockers was runner- up another year, at the same Swedish top dog competition. Several others has been placed on the top ten list.
I’ve been judging half of my active years- but am very contented with just a few breeds- and judging appointments.
These judging assignments have been through Scandinavia as well as the odd Cocker specialty in England (awarding  CC.)
First and foremost I am a breeder. I love to combine, create and compete.
It has meant a busy life with much travelling.
– As well as a never ending love for dogs through my 53 active years.
My professions have also included grooming salons in Sweden and Norway. I’ve also been writing for different doggy magazines and have produced a breed book on Cockers.
I’m excited to be able to officiate in Finland, one of the best doggy countries in the world in my opinion.
Finns are dedicated and hard working people- we all know the meaning of Finnish Sisu….
