Born in 1970 into a well-known kennel breeding American and English Cocker Spaniels and Pekingese, I grew up surrounded by dogs. In 1991, Shibas became part of our lives, and from an early age we spent most weekends at dog shows. At the age of 21, I moved to Germany, where I lived until 2013 before returning to Denmark. My years in Germany were very active, involving extensive work in breed clubs and serving as a kennel counselor for the Nordic Breeds Club, Aktia Club, and the German Kennel Club. During this time, I travelled widely, showing our Shibas to top results, including handling 10 dogs to World Winner titles. Showing dogs has always been a great passion of mine, taking me across Europe, the USA, and Japan. In 2018, I began my education with the goal of becoming a judge for my beloved Japanese breeds. In 2025, I was proud to be authorized for FCI Group 5, as well as the Danish breed Broholmer and American Cocker Spaniels. I am passionate about judging dogs and take pride in sharing the knowledge and principles passed on to me by my mentors. I have worked with dogs my entire life, owning a grooming salon, founding the German Shiba Club, serving as breed representative, organizing shows, and handling many top dogs across different breeds. As a junior handler, I was fortunate to win “Show of Winners” in Denmark in 1987. Over the years, I have owned Afghan Hounds, American and English Cocker Spaniels, Pekingese, Japanese Spitz, and Scottish Terriers. Today, I share my home with four Shibas and one Akita. In 2026, I look forward to judging in Finland. This country is one of my favorite places, with consistently high-quality dogs and well-organized shows. I am very much looking forward to judging in Helsinki.
