Harto Stockmari
Finland
By profession I am Master of Business Administration, am married with Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari and am daddy to my adult daughter Nora. My prefix, which I got in 1975, is Sassatown, which I have transfered to my daughter. My doggy hobby started in 1969 with an Australian Terrier. During the last four decades I have bred the following breeds: Australian Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Deerhound, Irish Wolfhound, Pekingese, Poodles, Pomeranian, shar pei and Finnish Lapphund. I have also owned and handled other breeds. My Australian import, Taralee Bobby Dazzler was the first Australian Terrier to win Best In Show in Finland in 1980s. In 2009 we exported Stranger’s Blue Buick, an Australian Terrier bred by Tanya, to Australia and one year later it came back as Australian Show Champion and it is the first Australian Terrier bred in Europe that has achieved Show Champion title in the country of the origin of the breed. Buick had couple of litters in Australia and we imported its son Australian Show Champion Sinclyde Strangers Boomerang and daughter Australian Show Champion Xanhorrhoea From Down Under (also group winner in its homecountry). So we have ahd three Australian Show Champions at home. At its time the Deerhound, C.I.B & Fi & EE Ch Sassatown Adair won twice the breed specialty. We have also two white Pekingese at home: Multi Ch Sassatown Tricky Woo and its sone Sassatown Bartuk of Strangers. In the end of 1970s I stayed some time in the famous British Pharaoh Hound kennel Merrymuth.
