Hans Almgren

I am Hans Almgren and I was born in north of Sweden. Our family was interested in hunting and fishing and therefore we had a Norwegian Grey Elkhound and Hamilton Hound at home. We were proud of our dogs and showed them at the Specialty Shows. Hunting abilities and exterior were both equally important. I became interested in dog shows but due to circumstansces me and my partner chose a smaller breed. Our choice was Shih Tzu and we acquired our first one fom the UK. Our first Shih Tzu was very succesfull both at shoiws and at stud and with it we started our breeding program. Co-operation with another breeder made it possible to be co-.owener of one of the most succesfull toy dogs in Sweden throughout years: Anibes X-tra Special Oliver. I have bred Shih Tzus since 1979 till about five years ago. I have also had a Rottweiler and a Briard. I became judge in 1995 and nowadays I am qualified to judge all breeds. I judge regularly all over the world.
