Koiramessut – Dog Fair Finland will once again have a delightful programme in addition to Winner dog shows.
In the Arena, located in Hall 1, will see a variety of awards ceremonies, for example with Finnish Kennel Club’s Hero Dogs, Vuolasvirta-breeders and Vuoden Tassunjälki (Pawprint of the Year) winner collecting their awards. There will also be the Finnish Kennel Club’s and Agria Animal Insurance’s health scholarships and, of course, the exciting Finals of the dog shows!
Have you seen Flyball show or do you know what Dobo is?
In Tapahtumakehä in Hall 6, you can learn about the dog hobbies through various demonstrations. You can also come and listen to information sessions on topics such as dog welfare, activation and nose work. At the Finnish Kennel Club’s info stage in Hall 6, next to the Rotutori, you can stop by to listen to breed clubs presenting their breeds, as well as mini-lectures on basic dog care and dog life in a family with children.
The lobby of the Southern Entrance will again be taken over by toy dogs! Registration for the popular Plush Toy Dog Competition starts on both Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM, and the actual competition at noon. On Saturday, the competition will be judged by “Dog” and on Sunday by “Fairy of the Forest”. Please remember to bring your own plush toy dog.
In addition to the programme, it is definitely worth checking out what kind of stands and sellers are there at Dog Fair Finland. As well as learning lots of new things, you can also shop Christmas presents for yourself and your canine friend at great prices!
