My dog hobby began with German Shepherds and Collies. My family has had Rough Collies for over 30 years. In addition to Collies, we have also owned Afghan Hounds and a Pharaoh Hound. I am actively involved in various clubs and show committees. The Finnish Collie Club has awarded me the Silver Merit Badge, and the Finnish Afghan Hound Club has awarded me the Gold Merit Badge. I qualified as a conformation judge in 2010, and I am licensed to judge all breeds. In addition to the Nordic countries, I have judged in many other countries around the world.
