Kurt Nilsson

Sweden

I was born in Boden in the north of Sweden 1955. Since 1980 I work as a teacher at Grans College of Agriculture. I grew up with hunting dogs as Hamiltonstövare which my grandfather bred and in my home we had Smålandsstövare. 1970 I bought my first dog, a Newfoundland’s bitch. 1975 I bred my first litter with the prefix Nallelandets and now it has been nine generations. With my wife the first Bearded Collie came into the kennel 1989. I have had different commissions in breed clubs, in the local kennel club and I have been member in the education comity in Swedish kennel club. 1987 was the year I become authorized judge on my first breeds, Newfoundlands, Bernerse Mountain Dog and Saint Bernhard. My first FCI groups were group 2 and 5. In September 2006 I was authorized as an all-breed judge. I have judged in Scandinavia, several European countries, Australia, South Korea, Singapore and China.
