A big thank you to the Finnish Kennel Club for the invitation, I am very much looking forward to coming and judging at these prestigious Winner Shows.
Since 2009 I have been authorised to judge and give CACs & CACIBs to FCI Group 6. Soon after to Group 4 and 8 and from Group 7 Bracco Italiano and Spinone. As long as I can remember I have loved dogs of all breeds. I had my first pedigree dog, a Golden Retriever, as a child and started to show him when I was 13. He won Best Of Breed and my lifetime interest in dog shows began.  We also had Goldens in my own family when our boys were young. In 1997 we had our first PBGV from Kennel Morebess. He was a Danish Champion and sired fine pups.  In 2003 we had our first bitch from the UK Kennel Soletrader and, since those days have had a few litters, producing very typy champions. I train blood-trails with my dogs and have 1st prize. I have been a member of the Basset Club Denmark, the club committee and health committee for many years, also editor of our club magazine for 10 yrs. I judged in Finland for the first time in 2012 both at the Basset Club 40 years Jubilee Show and at the INT Show in Tampere. I have now judged in many countries in Europe and in the USA. I was back in Finland in 2016 also judging at the Basset Club Show, and it will be good to be back in beautiful Finland to meet the dogs and people involved with the 2 Winner Shows in December 24.  As a judge I am always first of all looking for the best type in a breed, after that the details, movement and of course soundness and temperament.
