I’ve been with dogs since I was born, my parents had a pet dog back then. When it passed away, my parents decided to get a Boxer, since we all thought it was the most wonderful breed in the world. Therefore, I got my first purebred dog at the age of 12. Since my dog did well at dog shows, I was completely dragged away into the dog show world. Since then, dogs have played a big part in my life, if not the biggest. I’ve bred Boxers for several years and was Chair of the Latvian Boxer Club in 1981–1995. Today, I have three Cavalier King Charles Spaniel males. Before becoming a dog show judge in 1984, I judged at different dog trials. I was named an all-breed judge in 2012. I work as Office Manager at the Latvian Kennel Club. I’m also a member of the Latvian Kennel Club’s Board and was Chair of the Latvian Kennel Club’s Show Judges’ Committee until 2021. I've judged in most European countries, at many European and World Winner shows, as well as in Australia, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Argentina, Canada, Malesia, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Colombia, Uruguay, and Peru.
