I’m a dog show judge from Helsinki. I was born into a family with sled dogs. My first own dog was however a Cocker Spaniel, who was later joined by a Welsh Springer Spaniel and American Cocker Spaniels. I spent my first active years closely with Spaniels. After that, I also got interested in toy dogs.
Before becoming a judge, I showed and groomed actively other people’s dogs from most breed groups. I’ve made more than 200 dogs champions, including several World and European Winners as well as BIS winners.
As regards club activities, my most important tasks include chairmanship of the Finnish Toy Dog Club, membership of the Finnish Kennel Club’s Board, and membership of the Winner Show Committee. I'm also a member of The Royal Kennel Club.
I’m qualified to judge all breeds and judge very actively around the world. I’ve judged somewhat in all European countries as well as on all continents. Besides European countries, I’ve been honoured to judge Best in Show also in North and South America, Asia, South Africa, and Australia.
