Dogs have always been a part of my life. We’ve had hunting dogs at home and also my white Miniature Poodle. I knew early on that the Boxer is the breed for me. I got my first Boxer when I was 16 years old. My first litter was born in 1976 under the prefix Teamwork. At home, I have dogs I’ve bred myself and also dogs we've imported from Russia, Italy, and Spain. We also have a small and delightful Dandie Dinmont Terrier puppy. She’s a real bundle of joy and it is exciting with a whole new breed.
I became a judge in 1997, at first for Boxers only. Today, I judge all breeds from groups 1, 2, and 8, most breeds from group 9, and several breeds from group 5. Later this year, I will judge at ATIBOX in Hungary. This will be the fourth time I judge at this event.
I’m active in different clubs and a member of the Swedish Kennel Club’s Board and its second vice president. I’m also the Chair of the Swedish Kennel Club’s Show Committee and vice chair of the Swedish Boxer Club.
It’s lovely that shows and other dog events can again be organized. I look forward to judging in the always so welcoming Finland and Helsinki.
