I am honored and excited to be judging dogs at your show in Helsinki. At the age of seventeen I received my first collie for Christmas. I quickly became immersed in whatever I could read about the history, breeding and showing of our wonderful breed. I have bred many champions under the Hi-Crest prefix including WD at our national and awards of merit on three different Hi-Crest bitches.
I began my judging career in 1996 when I was approved to judge collies. Since then, I am currently judging the herding group. On a national level, I have served as district director, member of the health committee and presently chair of national show rules. I have also been involved with our local collie club and have held numerous positions, as well as my local all- breed club.
I am currently a manager of a veterinary hospital and my hobbies include gardening, cooking, wine appreciation, music and travel with my partner Ken Ellison.
I take the task of judging seriously and hope to help keep the breeds moving down the correct path. I do enjoy judging, exhibiting and breeding the wonderful collie. Please take time to enjoy your dogs and the wonderful people in dogs! Good luck to you all!
